A Blue Moon is actually a second Full Moon in a calendar month. July’s first Full Moon back on the 2nd was the Full Buck Moon. The one you can see tonight and Friday morning (7:09 PM Thursday to 6:08 AM Friday) is the “Full Sturgeon Moon;” it is officially FULL at 5:42 AM, but you won’t notice the difference if you peek at it this evening or in the morning.
