TENNESSEE VALLEY -Severe storms and high winds rocked the Tennessee Valley on Saturday, January 11. Winds gusted over 60 mph in some of the stronger storms.

Multiple reports of wind damage came in as storms moved through. The National Weather Service in Huntsville issued Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado warnings as storms moved across the area. Only Limestone and Lincoln counties got through storms without a warning. Every other county was placed under a Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado warning.

Warnings and Storm Reports from Jan 11. All of north Alabama with the exception of Limestone county was under a Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado warning. White dots are wind damage reports.

Storms left a lot of wind damage across the area. We’ve got some of the damage pictures below.
