DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) -  Valentine's Day is Saturday and WHNT NEWS 19 is taking action to help you get results with your sweetie.  We've found plenty of ways for you to have a romantic time without shooting an arrow through your wallet.

At Morgan Price Candy Company in Decatur, love is in the air and chocolate is on display.

Owner Nancy Curl says this is a place where you get your money's worth.

"We use fresh ingredients and high-quality ingredients in all the candies that we make and we price it just as low as we can afford to price it," said Curl.

If you stop at that for your sweetie, you'll save money, since Consumerist.com reports couples will spend at least $118 on each other this year, whether they're dating, engaged or married.

If a romantic dinner and overnight stay is more your style, hotels around the Tennessee Valley are ready to wine and dine you -- and your sweetie -- and save you money.

Four Points by Sheraton on Glen Hearn Boulevard in Huntsville is offering a Valentine's Day that comes with relaxation and romance.

Packages include a four-course dinner, breakfast in bed and late check-out with champagne and chocolate waiting for you in the room.

Prices start at $149 or $70 for just dinner.

Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express in Huntsville also have deals starting at $112 for a room, including a box of candy.  Or, for about $159, you'll also get a $50 gift card to Texas Roadhouse Restaurant.  You can also just do dinner -- steak, chicken or fish -- complete with dessert for $40.

If you want to say "I love you" with flowers, go to Coupons.com.

You'll find discounts up to 40% off through 1-800-FLOWERS on flowers and gifts for Valentine's Day.

Also, don't forget the dollar stores for inexpensive and cute thoughts that say "You're special to me!"

Dollar Tree, for example, has all kinds of trinkets that are perfect for Valentines baggies your kids can hand out to their
classmates at school, if they want.
