Alabama has one of the highest rates of church attendance but recent research shows that, nationally, the number of people regularly attending religious services has declined.

Rachael Jackson is a veteran and the founder of a company called Shattered Media; now she’s working to develop a social networking app that’s different from what we’re used to. It’s focused on connecting people through their personal stories and then, to a higher power.
