HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Huntsville Police are investigating a deadly late-night shooting.  Police are looking for two men last seen walking from a house at the intersection of Shady Lane Drive and Shady Lane Circle not long after the crime.

Police and HEMSI responded to that intersection at 10:38 p.m. Tuesday to find 28-year-old Christopher Scott Cameron suffering from a gunshot wound to the groin area.  He was rushed to Huntsville Hospital, where he later died.

Police roped off the area using crime scene tape while they worked to collect evidence and talked to neighbors.

A witness reported seeing two men, one white and one black, leaving the house right after the shooting.  One was dressed in all black with a bandana. The other was wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt. He is bald and has a light-colored beard.

Wednesday afternoon, investigators said they believe the shooting to be drug-related.

Police are also searching for a newer model, silver Nissan Sentra with blue headlights.  They have some leads they are working, but if you have any information that could help, please call (256) 722-7100.
