HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Tax time is upon us once again.  Some people tackle them right away, but many of us put them off until the last minute.

Filing your taxes can be stressful, but it doesn't have to be.  WHNT News 19 is Taking Action to help you get answers to your tax questions.

Licensed CPAs with the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) were on hand to take your calls and answer your questions on Tuesday, February 4.

200 viewers called, emailed and even tweeted their tax questions.

Two of the most often asked tax questions? Can I claim my children who are older than 18 as dependents  and how long do i need to keep old tax returns?

Our tax action line is over, but we're still offering a free tax service to local working families throughout this tax season.

The United Way of Madison County and Impact Alabama are sponsoring the SaveFirst Initiative. For more information, click here.
