HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)–This morning our Pothole of the Day team made the short half a block drive to Dallas Avenue where resident Cornelious Earskine showed us what he has dubbed, “The Beast!”

“The Beast” of a pothole is located on Dallas Avenue near Holmes Avenue in Downtown Huntsville. Earskine says he believes repairs on his road are being overlooked in favor of larger roads.

His message for crews, “I would like to see them either repave the road or either fix the pothole; anything that is going to help the community out.”

Our Pothole of the Day team is taking action for Mr. Earskine and other residents of Dallas Avenue. Street crews tell us their goal is to get these pothole problems resolved within 24 hours of it being reported. We are putting them to the test!
