HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Being a parent is the best job in the world and it can be expensive. WHNT NEWS 19 Pays it Forward to parents coming to get their car seat installed at the Safe Kids station at Huntsville Hospital.

They had appointments, but had no idea our cameras would be there or that we were paying it forward. First up, $100 for first time parents - the O'Malleys.

"Oh my gosh!" gasps Lauren O'Malley. "It's awesome. I didn't expect it at all."

Emma Strickland pulled up in a sweet ride. Shortly after she got out, she got a surprise of $100 also.

"Thank you so much," says Strickland, who admitted this was a new experience for her.

Then, Amber Hopkins rolled up and her window sticker couldn't be more true. It said "Mommin' ain't easy!" However, giving away money is!

"I've got my third on the way," explains Hopkins. "Thanks y'all!"

We grabbed these three parents, but more than two dozen come through here each week. Some people have their own car seat, but others may not. Moms that qualify through a program at the hospital are able to get car seats at no cost. The Safe Kids installers go through lots of training to make sure they're prepared for all sorts of cars, seat buckles, and car seat models. They were a little camera shy, but since we felt like they embodied what Pay it Forward is all about by helping parents ensure that they can safely transport their kids, we donated our last $19 to the group.

It's so nice to be a part of a good thing! We're looking for more people to surprise with a Pay it Forward and you can help us find them! Nominate someone today.
