The Stonewave is a ceramic stoneware cooking item that claims to be non-stick.

It cost us $9.99.  You can get it at some “Big Box” stores and just about anywhere that sells “As Seen on TV” products.

The secret, the packaging claims, is a steam release chimney that has a domed lid which lets steam and heat escape and also more evenly heat food.

We cooked eggs first with the Stonewave. It perfectly poached an egg in 45 seconds.

After cleaning it, we took four shrimp, put some butter and lemon juice in, and popped the Stonewave in the microwave for 90 seconds.  The Stonewave cooked the shrimp perfectly.

The Stonewave we like. It’s a Deal.  It is dishwasher safe.
