The Chef'N Palm Peeler is one of those great products I wish I had thought of myself.
If I had thought of it, maybe I would be sitting on a beach right now with one of those really nice drinks with the umbrella counting my stack of cash.
But I didn't.  And I digress.
The Palm Peeler is a vegetable and fruit peeler that you slip on a finger. (Yes, you can make it that finger and your family will think you are a job. Don't do it public however.)
I bought it at Le Gourmet Chef for $5.99 or you can get it 2-for-$10.  It very easily peels fruits and veggie. There is a flat blade and a serrated blade. The serrated blade is good for soft fruit like pears and apples.
One important thing about the Palm Peeler. If you put in on a finger, you will notice that your hands and fingers really don't move while you are peeling the fruits and vegetables.  That is good.  Senior citizens with arthritis would find the Palm Peeler very helpful.  A person at a store that carries the Palm Peeler told me she has neuropathy, and the Palm Peeler helped her in the kitchen a great deal.
