UAH Moves To No. 11 In Latest Poll

Huntsville, Ala. – The University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s basketball team jumped up two spots this week in the latest installment of the NABC/Division II Coaches Poll, moving into the No. 11 position.
The Chargers have spent the past 38 regular season releases of the poll among the nation’s top 25.
NCAA South Region foe Florida Southern leapfrogged UAH, moving from 14th last week and into the top 10 at No. 9. Rollins slipped from No. 17 to 19th after a setback last week.
Two other teams from the South Region are featured in the receiving votes category as North Alabama sits just two positions out of the top 25 with 24 points, while Saint Leo received 11 points.
Metro State is ranked first with Western Washington in second. West Liberty owns the No. 3 spot, and Seattle Pacific is fourth. Rounding out the top five is Cal Poly Pomona.
UAH will return to action on Thursday when it travels to West Georgia for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
