Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) - UAH baseball is giving back to its fan base.  This week they're holding a camp for 5-12 year olds to teach the fundamentals of the game, like hitting, fielding and baserunning.

UAH is fresh off a second-place finish in the GSC last season and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2012.  Fan support had a lot to do with that success and the Chargers say they want to return the favor.

"Anytime you have a chance to give back to the community," said Hunter Royer, UAH head coach.  "Our guys, we definitely want to do that. And if you look at our roster, we've probably got about fifty percent local kids, so it's a good thing to get them out here."
