In an 11-inning marathon that lasted well over four hours, the
Huntsville Stars beat the Chattanooga Lookouts by a score of 4-3 at
AT&T Field on Friday night. With the game tied up 3-3 since the fifth
inning, Stars left fielder Jay Gibbons drew a bases-loaded walk off of
Lookouts LHP Geison Aguasviva to take the lead for good. In the bottom
half of the frame, Stars RHP Jesus Sanchez improved to 3-0 on the
season by finding his way out of a bases-loaded, nobody out jam, as he
got center fielder Nick Buss to ground out to end the game. The win
snapped a three-game losing streak overall for the Stars.

Game three of a five game series will begin on Saturday as the Stars
will send RHP Tyler Thornburg (5-0, 1.91 ERA) to the mound to square
off against RHP Chris Withrow (1-1, 5.19 ERA). First pitch is at 6:15
