TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WHNT) – Understandably, Alabama didn’t know much about its upcoming SEC championship opponent late Saturday night.

The No. 1 Crimson Tide play No. 17 Missouri on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome for the SEC Championship. Alabama’s spot representing the West was locked up earlier in the afternoon when Mississippi State lost to Ole Miss, but the Crimson Tide went on to beat Auburn 55-44 in a wild Iron Bowl.

“I haven’t even worried about them yet,” Tide safety Landon Collins said. “I just worried about this game. If we didn’t win this game, we weren’t going to be playing in it.”
