Huntsville, Ala. - (WHNT) For all the unknowns going into this football season at Randolph, one thing is certain. It will be difficult adjusting to the competition level in class 5A. Raiders head coach Eddie Guth is ready for the challenge and wants his team to prepare like everything is normal.

"It's a great honor to be competing at the 5A level in the state of Alabama.  With that our competition is going to become tougher and tougher, but right now I feel like for us to succeed at Randolph and for us to take the next step forward we have to take care of ourselves," Guth said just prior to practice Monday.

Keeping the focus internal means replacing a quarterback as well as the talented Tight End Alex Kofski who now plays ball at the Air Force Academy. Senior linebacker Hall Blake Bryant thinks his squad is ready to roll no matter who they are playing. "We've all really worked hard this off season, five days a week, practicing for hours and working hard.  So it's nothing different, you just have to play up to the competition."

Randolph begins it's season August 29th against Montgomery Academy on the campus of Birmingham Southern.
