HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (roarlions.com) - Raven Cole pitched a two-hit shutout and the No. 4 University of North Alabama softball team defeated No. 11 UAH 4-0 on Sunday to win the three-game Gulf South Conference series. With the win, the Lions improve to 37-5 overall and maintain first place in the GSC with a 21-3 league record.

Cole, a junior from Orange, Texas, went the distance in the circle, working seven innings to improve to 19-1 on the season. She struck out seven and walked four, taking a one-hitter into the bottom of the seventh inning. UAH (31-9 overall, 17-7 GSC) got a walk and a single in the final frame before Cole struck out the side to secure the win.
