Lions Bounce Back in Big Homecoming Win

Florence, Ala. ( - North Alabama scored on its first six consecutive offensive possessions as the Lions rolled to a 62-28 Homecoming win over UNC Pembroke at Braly Stadium.

The win was UNA's 11th straight Homecoming win and improved the 17thranked Lions record to 5-1 overall. UNCP falls to 4-2.

UNA held the Braves on their opening possession and then covered 47 yards in just five plays to start the scoring fest. UNA led 48-14 at intermission and was just one point shy of the school record for points in a half. The 62 points by UNA marked just the seventh time in school history that the Lions had scored 60 or more points and it was the first time since 2009.
