Havoc Wins Second Straight

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Justin Fox scored a goal and added an assist as the Huntsville Havoc won their second straight game with a 4-1 decision over the Mississippi RiverKings Saturday night.

Aaron McGill got the Havoc on the board early when he took a great pass from Ian Boots and buried it in the back of the net with 12:26 left in the first period.

The Havoc got two powerplay goals in the second period, the first by Fox with 12:21 left. Colin Reddin made it 3-0 with 10:51 left in the second period.

Todd Hosmer put the RiverKings on the board with 4:32 left in the second period and the Havoc lead was 3-1 after two periods.

McGill added a third period goal to ice the game with 4:49 left.

Mississippi outshot the Havoc 46-22 but goalie Dan McWhinney made 45 saves. He has only allowed one goal in the last seven periods in net. Matthew Krahn made 18 saves in the loss.
