Anthony Perry has the nickname he had since he was a kid.  Because he cut off part of his finger on his right hand, his family called him Lefty.

The name stuck.

Now Anthony “Lefty” Perry is being inducted into the Huntsville-Madison County Athletic Hall of Fame.  He played for Bear Bryant at Alabama in the 1970s, helping the program win a National Championship.  But after not feeling satisfied by life after football, he decided to become a pastor.
