Huntsville, Ala. - (WHNT) LSU head coach Les Miles once said, Death Valley is a place "where opponents dreams come to die." If that statement is true, Alabama's dreams of a national championship are hanging in the balance. This week coach Miles called upon his rowdy fan base one more time to help send the Tide home upset.
"We'll look forward to getting to Tiger stadium and allowing that fan base to rock the place, make a lot of noise. Come early, stay late. Eat Concessions. Our team plays best in Tiger stadium. It's a magical place."
Nick Saban has tamed that voodoo before and his veteran team is well aware of what it is up against Saturday. Senior Blake Sims is getting his first start in baton Rouge, but he knows the atmosphere. "The best word for it is crazy. It's loud, a lot of people are yelling at you and it's a great game. You know this game could go down in history for you."
Regardless of what it means for Sims' history, it goes down Saturday at 7:00 p.m. central time.
