HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The University of Alabama in Huntsville softball team forced a deciding game three on Saturday afternoon at Charger Park, but Valdosta State was able to bounce back from a 9-1 UAH victory in the day's first game to win 6-3 in the final contest to win the 2014 NCAA Division II Softball South Super Regional. UAH's season concludes at 48-12, while VSU moves on with a 45-14 mark.

The day's first game was a tightly-contested affair through the first four innings as UAH scored a run in the first when Kaitlyn Bannister drove in a run, and the Blazers knotted the contest at 1-1 in the third when Courtney Albritton led off the inning with a solo homer.
