PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Second round Buffalo Bills draft pick and Madison native Reggie Ragland was hurt at practice Friday.
ESPN reported Bills coach Rex Ryan said after the practice the extent of Ragland’s injury is currently unknown, but that it happened during a non-contact play. He was seen limping to the sidelines with a left knee injury.
“It just looked odd,” ESPN reported Ryan said. “It wasn’t hit. None of that stuff. So sometimes those can be the worst ones, so I’m hoping — we just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope he’s fine.”
Ragland was drafted 41st overall and was expected to be a starter as inside linebacker on the Bills’ defense.
We will update you when the team gives more information about the extent of his injury.
