TUSCALOOSA, Ala, (al.com) - And football is back in Tuscaloosa.

Playing on a completely-predictable steamy Thursday afternoon, the Alabama football team officially began the 2016 season. Here's what we saw:

Offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor was practicing after his July arrest for DUI. Nick Saban said at the time he was suspended indefinitely. The 2015 starter was working behind Brandon Kennedy, where they were in spring practice.
