HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – It`s been a busy week for the Alabama A&M coaching staff.  Head coach James Spady and his staff have been on the road for five satellite prospect camps in just four days.  The bulldogs traveling from one side of the state to the other with stops in Montgomery, Baldwin County, Mobile, Dothan, and Birmingham.  “It`s been a pretty busy June, but that`s okay because this is imperative,” Coach Spady said.  “We have to have this in order to give opportunities to young men that haven`t been exposed to Alabama A&M, but it also gives us an opportunity to see kids you otherwise wouldn’t be exposed to.”

Spady and the Bulldogs are pro-satellite camps.   At the same time nothing beats the comforts of home, and for A&M that’s where its prospect camp tour ended, the team holding its sixth camp of the summer at Louis Crews Stadium.  Coach Spady knows his school is right in the middle of a talent rich area, and says he always does his best to make sure he keeps the top student athletes right here in North Alabama.  “There is so much talent here.  There is an advantage for us too have a guy who`s local on our football team.  If I could have three more camps right here I would.”
