Have you ever wanted to start a business, but the thought of initial costs and failure scare you out of taking the plunge? Clinton Row might be the perfect spot for you. Clinton row's ability to help local entrepreneurs open small businesses, helps to ease that initial anxiety.

More and more small businesses are moving to Huntsville -- and some of them are  getting their start downtown.  The low rent and short term leases make it less risky for an entrepreneur to try a business model.

Matt Wake, with Echo Records just opened up his business in clinton row last month. He says he has big dreams for his new shop, "I'd love for echo records to be a fixture for downtown, that people will want to hang out at, like big spring park, the food trucks and other Downtown Huntsville events. I'd love for echo records to be something people love to do cool in Huntsville."

The businesses at clinton row have recently developed a merchants' association which will help the owners greatly improve their chances of success -- and continue to help make downtown huntsville a hub for local shopping.
