HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Women Honoring Women Annual Banquet is happening tonight at the Von Braun Center North Hall, beginning at 5:30 pm.  This year’s theme is “Dare to be Great.”

This event celebrates the accomplishments and community service of seven women in North Alabama nominated and selected by the WEDC in the areas of Arts and Humanities, Business and Professional, Community and Public Service, Education, Health and Human Services and Technology.

Attendees will hear their stories of success over the trials and tribulations they faced on the way up the ladder of success.

This is a fundraiser for the WEDC Foundation, which works year-round to raise money to support local women selected as scholars.  

It is a sister organization and philanthropic arm of the Women’s Economic Development Council (WEDC).
