Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system affecting more than 2.3 million people worldwide.
MS can cause many symptoms, including blurred vision, loss of balance, poor coordination, slurred speech, tremors, numbness, extreme fatigue, problems with memory and concentration, paralysis, and blindness and more. These problems may come and go or persist and worsen over time.
Walk MS is the rallying point of the MS movement, a community coming together to celebrate hope for the future.
Join the annual Walk MS: North Alabama event on May 2nd, at the Village of Providence in Huntsville. Walk begins at 9:00 a.m. Participants can enjoy the park and choose a 1, 2 or 3 mile walking route. Not interested in walking but want to be a part of the day? Come celebrate by being a volunteer or virtual walker! Register now, connect with others and start fundraising today.
