Getting older is hard.  Especially at Christmas time older loved ones can feel vulnerable or isolated.

That's where TARCOG can help.

TARCOG stands for "Top Of Alabama Council Of Governments" and it's the area agency on aging for five local counties.

Every year they provide Christmas gifts for isolated, vulnerable, medically fragile adults in the region who receive TARCOG services for so that they can remain in their home rather than having to go into a nursing home.

TARCOG is in need of some additional Christmas sponsors this year.

If you'd like to help call (256) 716-2441 for more information.

You can also help out with the Christmas need, by picking up a wish list from the TARCOG Tree at 5015 Research Drive in Huntsville.
