HUNTSVILLE, Ala - It has become a widespread problem among the elderly that there are not enough caregivers to assist seniors right now. This is due to the "Baby Boomers" retiring and needing assistance, and there is a decline in what is called "generational caregivers." Some older caregivers have also said their children and grandchildren are pursuing careers in other fields. In the meantime, there are seniors in our community that seriously need assistance to continue to live independently in their own homes.
Home Instead Senior Care needs to hire 100 caregivers over the coming weeks and months, and therefore will be having a job fair at their office in Huntsville in May . They are in need of caregivers for Madison, Morgan, Limestone, Marshall, and Jackson counties at this time. They need people who have had some experience, whether it is caring for a family member, or professional experience working in a facility, but for those who have not had much, if any experience, a great opportunity for a FREE education class is being offered from the Home Instead Senior Care in Huntsville. It is designed for those that have the heart of a caregiver, but they just lack the skills or training.
Home Instead Senior Care has never provided a free education class before and is very excited to offer this opportunity to people in the surrounding areas. They are looking for college students, stay-at-home moms, retirees, and people who are looking for second jobs. They are willing to work around class schedules for interested students.
If this free education class interests you, call Susan Frampton at 256-883-3080. The following address is the location of the Huntsville office:

The training class starts the 3rd week in May, so you need to call right away to join the class.
