HUNTSVILLE, Ala – Huntsville Botanical Garden is bringing back one of its most popular garden events, “Fidos After Five.”

On Thursday evenings during August and September, from 5 to 8 p.m., you can bring your pooch to the garden to enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of both the garden and the eclectic blend of musicians that will perform their own unique genre of music in the shade of the Cedar Glade.

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket and secure your spot in the Cedar Glade to enjoy the Garden. During musical breaks, the no-leash zone will be a favorite with your four-legged friends, offering them the chance to chase Frisbees and play with other pups. Wine will be available for purchase from the Shoppe in the Garden from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Botanical Garden members have free admission to these evening events. Regular Garden admission is charged for non-members. Dogs are $1 each or get a paw pass for the season for only $5. And don’t forget to bring the swimsuits for the kiddos.

Huntsville Botanical Garden is open year-round and features the nation`s largest open-air butterfly house, a picture-perfect aquatic garden, spectacular nature trails, numerous specialty gardens including an interactive children`s garden, and of course, a variety of plant collections.
