Verizon announces plans to hire an additional 200 workers at Huntsville call center

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Verizon Wireless says it is looking to hire an additional 200 full-time workers in Huntsville, according to our newspartners at The Huntsville Times/AL.com

This announcement comes less than a year after the company said it would fill 300 new jobs at the Huntsville call center.

The center is located at 475 Quality Circle in Thornton Research Park. It’s  Verizon’s state headquarters.

A Verizon spokeswoman told The Huntsville Times/AL.com the new customers service and tech support positions are needed to bolster Verizon’s rapid growth.
