UPDATE: U.S. Marshals, Sheriff’s Deputies and Police Make Burglary Arrest In Madison

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Four hours of police work land two people in jail. United States Marshals, Limestone County Sheriff’s Deputies and Madison Police Officers worked a joint investigation on Monday. It involved two locations, including an apartment complex off Old Madison Pike in Madison.

On Tuesday, Madison Police arrested 18-year-old Jarius Devontaye Oneal, of Harvest, for Attempting to Elude, Burglary 3rd, and Theft of Property 2nd.  Madison investigators caught Oneal on foot.

Police say Oneal was linked to a burglary that occurred on Highland Drive Monday morning.

Another man was originally pictured in this story.  He was escorted by law enforcement away from the scene, but was not charged in connection with this case.  

WHNT NEWS 19 was the only news station at Waverly Place apartments as U.S. Marshals, deputies and police officers worked together.
