Tuscaloosa authorities search for 15-foot python on the loose

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama authorities are continuing to search for a 15-foot (4.5 meter) yellow and white python on the loose in Tuscaloosa.

A city councilman said the constrictor poses a “great” threat to pets and small children.

News outlets report snake sightings on Monday and Tuesday, but police say it has evaded capture by animal control agents so far.
