(WHNT) – This weekend marks the two-year anniversary of the April 27 tornadoes in Alabama.  So much has changed since then as communities rebuild and remember those who died.

Aerial surveillance has become an integral tool National Weather Service forecasters use to analyze damage tracks and even categorize storms.
