Three People Stabbed at Homeless Camp

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police are investigating a fight that sent three men to the hospital with stab wounds.

It happened just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at a homeless camp near Holmes Avenue and Derrick Street.

Police identify the three victims as 26-year-old Cedric Toler, 53-year-old Michael Langford and 23-year-old Chester Petty.

Authorities say someone came into Langford’s tent and cut him with a knife. He then screamed for help. Toler and Petty grabbed the man responsible, but say he cut them and then fled the area.

Hemsi Paramedics say all three men had multiple stab wounds and were rushed to Huntsville Hospital in serious condition.

Police brought in several officers to investigate this case.

Authorities do have a name of the person they are looking.

However, no arrest have been made.
