The Navy’s Blue Angels performed a special flyover in honor of one of their own

CNN- Dozens of people gathered in Pensacola, Florida, to honor Captain Jeff Kuss.

The Blue Angels performed the flyover as they were transporting his body to their home base at Naval Air Station in Pensacola.

The Colorado native died last week after his plane went down in Tennessee when he was practicing for a Blue Angels show when the tragedy happened.
Kuss had been a member of the Blue Angels since 2014.
He was honored at a memorial ceremony Thursday at Naval Air Station in Pensacola.
