‘Snapped’ Episode On Bishop Case To Air Sunday Night

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) An episode of 'Snapped' that spotlights the Amy Bishop case will air this Sunday, February 24 on Oxygen.

The episode airs at 8 p.m. central time.

The production crew visited Huntsville in October 2012 and interviewed several people with knowledge of the case, including:

  • Jacque Reeves, author and Huntsville historian
  • Lewis Morris, Huntsville Police Chief
  • Rodney Baker, Huntsville Police Officer

  • James Lomax, UAHuntsville student
  • Claire Aiello, Web Content Manager, WHNT.com
  • Carson Clark, reporter, WHNT News 19

Oxygen is Channel 123 on Comcast, Channel 27 on Knology, 127 on Dish Network and 251 on Directv.

Amy Bishop pleaded guilty to the February 2010 shootings at UAHuntsville, but has since appealed her guilty plea.  She and her husband also face civil lawsuits by the victims.
