FLORENCE, Ala. – Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is planning to visit Florence this Thursday, October 1.  Details have been released about the event.

Campaign organizers for Governor Huckabee say a “Rebuild America” rally will be hosted on the campus of the University of North Alabama.

Gov. Huckabee will address the public inside the Guillot University Center at 8 a.m. Thursday morning.  The event will last until 9:30 a.m.

The former Arkansas governor is expected to an address entitled “Burn down the Washington political machine, rebuild America.”

Additional parking and bus service will be available off campus at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum, located at 702 Veterans Drive.
