Police: Woman Hits Nurse Who Denied Stronger Pain Medicine

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – A Lauderdale County woman is behind bars for allegedly assaulting a nurse who denied to give her pain medications.
According to Florence Police, 31-year-old Sheray Denise Taylor is charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
Investigators say Taylor is pushed and hit a nurse at the Bone and Joint Clinic earlier this week.
Florence Police say that Taylor was at the clinic demanding stronger pain medication when the incident happened. 
The assault charge is a felony under state law.
