Lauderdale Authorities Search for Man Who Exposed Himself Twice at Dollar General

CENTRAL, Ala. (WHNT) - The Lauderdale Co. Sheriff's Dept is searching for a suspect connected to at least two reported incidents of indecent exposure that occurred over the past three days at the Dollar General on Hwy 20 in the Central community.

Lauderdale County Sergeant Joe Hamilton reports in both cases, the suspect had parked next to the victims' vehicle, got their attention, then exposed himself. The suspect then fled the scene at a high rate of speed.

In one of the incidents, the female victim was holding a small child.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30's to early 40's, with a possible goatee.  He is reported to be driving a charcoal gray Ford Focus, or similar vehicle, with a partial Alabama tag of "AY4."

Both incidents occurred in the evening hours, one at around 5:00, the other at around 7:30.

Hamilton reports deputies are conducting extra patrols of the area in an attempt to locate the suspect.
