Camp Smile-A-Mile benefit run this weekend in Florence

FLORENCE, Ala. – Take a few laps for a good cause this Saturday.

Jeff Dropo Run 4 Kids is hosting their 11th annual 5k and 1-mile run/walk on May 11th at 8:00 a.m. This charity run benefits Smile-A-Mile which is a year-round program for children with cancer and their families.

The mission of Smile-A-Mile is to provide hope, healing of the spirit and love for the whole family during the childhood cancer journey. Through year-round meaningful and educational programming, Smile-A-Mile helps those in Alabama who are affected by childhood cancer thrive during treatment and the years beyond.

This event will be held at Florence High School. Registration starts at 7:00am and is $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1-mile run/walk.
