SHOALS, Ala. (WHNT) - Florence Police think the same robber hit two different gas stations.

In both cases, surveillance cameras got a good shot of the suspect, and the gun he pointed at the clerk.  Detectives believe this will help the public identify the man.

Just after nightfall, Saturday, August 3rd, police say a robber walked into the RK Food Mart on Florence Boulevard, covered in a black jacket and mask.

Cut to two days later at the Citgo on Wood Avenue, investigators say a man walked in, at about the same time at the previous robbery, matching the same description.  Plus investigators say the man had the same type of gun.

“We`re doing the best we can to find out who`s doing these, but we also urge the citizens out there to help us,” said Sgt. Cliff Billingsley with the Florence Police Department.  “If somebody knows who`s doing these, there are several means they can come forwards and even make more money than actually being stolen in some cases.”

If you have any information about these robberies, it could be worth a cash reward to you.
