WASHINGTON, DC – Students at Howard University were asked to shelter in place on Tuesday. University officials say they were anonymously notified of a potential shooter on campus.
Police swept the campus, which includes searching all buildings. The all-clear was given by the university on Twitter after all the buildings were cleared.
This afternoon, we were anonymously notified of a potential shooter on campus. We took the call seriously and police are investigating.
