Sci-Quest Parents’ Night Out: Children Can Learn about Speed

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – For anyone in the Valley looking for a weekend activity to entertain children and allow the adults to have time to themselves, we have an idea:
Sci-Quest Hands-On Science Center in Huntsville is hosting Parents’ Night Out this Saturday.

Attendees will enjoy a pizza dinner, science actitvities, a movie and the opportunity to play on the exhibit floor.

Parents’ Night Out will continue every first Saturday and third Friday of the month.

Each month there will be a different theme with hands-on activities and a crafts for your kids to take home.

For July, they will be learning about speed and will get to explore the impacts of friction, collision and thrust.

The fun part is children get to build and decorate their own racers to bring home.

Parents’ Night Out is for children ages 4 to 12 years old.

The cost is $23 for the first child and $18 for each additional child,

Sci-Quest members receive a 10% discount.
The event for Saturday, July 6th, will go from 6 o’clock p.m. to 10 o’clock p.m.  Parents can begin dropping off their children for the fun at 5:30.

Advanced registration is required.
