TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama gave students the all-clear to resume activities, after issuing a security alert earlier Tuesday.

The school had sent out an alert that an armed individual was inside the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house on University Boulevard.

The alert urged students to stay away from the area.  Students got the notification through phone calls and text messages.

Tuscaloosa Police caught the person off campus.  No one was injured.

Fraternity members say the man was the disgruntled husband of the main cook in the house.  The two are apparently going through a divorce.
