Hoover, Ala. (WHNT) Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland will be one of Alabama's player representatives at SEC Media Days this July. It's the third consecutive summer that the Tennessee Valley will be represented in Hoover. Last season Columbia graduate Trey Flowers made the trip with Arkansas, and former Madison Academy standout Jordan Matthews represented Vanderbilt in 2013.
To this I say...

Ragland is a graduate of Bob Jones High School in Madison. The Conference announced one representative from each of it's 14 institutions on Thursday, writing a paragraph on each. Here is the blurb the SEC released to the media on Ragland.
"Reggie Ragland (Senior, Linebacker) participated in community service work at the local Veterans Administration hospital and also returned to Alabama for his senior season despite grading out high as an NFL prospect last year. He cited his unfinished work both on the field and in the classroom as reasons for his return to Alabama."
