FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – Edgewood Drive and Wood Avenue in Florence intersect a small shopping center in Seven Points that has a parking lot completely full of potholes.
Residents say it has been slowly falling apart for decades.
One concern is that these potholes could cause potential customers to make a detour.
Concerned resident Lauren Byrd says, “it can really drive off a lot of customers because you know they’re scared they might mess up their cars you know like in the potholes and things like that.”
Swerving to dodge these potholes also causes problems with parking lot traffic, which in turn frustrates drivers and causes congestion.
