HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) -   For many years WHNT News 19 produced a Sunday talk show called Accent.  On one edition that aired on November 2, 1980, then Secretary of State Don Siegelman appeared on the show to speak about the upcoming election.

Siegelman would also serve as Attorney General, Lt. Governor and finally Governor.   He is currently serving a 69 month sentence in federal prison after being convicted on ethics violations.   His conviction has been very controversial.

The video above is one of the few surviving clips from the Accent show.
