HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Sen. Marco Rubio spoke to an estimated crowd of several thousand people Saturday evening at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.

He touched on similar topics he has mentioned during many campaign stops, including better care for veterans and a promise to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

"Friends do not let friends vote for a con artist," Rubio added, referring to his main rival Donald Trump. The two have sparred in the last few days leading up to the March 1 primaries.

We're working to post Rubio's entire speech to WHNT.com.

Sen. Rubio will also attend a private fundraiser Saturday evening elsewhere in Huntsville.

Trump will visit Madison on Sunday afternoon. WHNT News 19 will bring you more coverage, and we'll also stream Trump's speech, which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
