Santorum Wins Alabama, Mississippi Primaries

Rick Santorum is looking forward to the next GOP primary contest, after big wins in Alabama and Mississippi.

With 94 percent of the Alabama’s vote reporting, Santorum won 35 percent of the vote.  Newt Gingrich took second place, and national front-runner Mitt Romney was third.

“We did it again,” Santorum told supporters Tuesday night in Lafayette, Louisiana, which will hold a republican primary on March 24.

The next contest on the GOP primary calendar is Puerto Rico on Sunday.
